Gregory Hudson Remembers Alan Chadwick, Part 2

 

Again, relating the story as he had told it as a Waldorf teacher, Gregory describes what happened when Alan was careless with fire in the garden at Covelo. Greg himself had nearly reached the point of exhaustion at the end of that first hard year, so he had become perhaps a bit mischievous in his delight at seeing "Mr. Chadwick" in a compromising position. It happened to everyone eventually.
